WOTC takes another pass at psionics in playtest form, and I take another pass at their pass on psionics!
Never a big fan of psionics.
What is the Force if not psionic based powers from little tiny things that live in your blood, oh Star Wars fan @sean?
I would say that as long as they don’t unbalance a game they are really no different than spells. I only gave this a cursory glance, but the die thing is quite cool. I might restrict magic/psionics in a campaign I run and say they are mutually exclusive.
Midchlorians were a terrible idea. If they were cellular in nature, then a vaccine or antibiotic could be developed to render force powers impossible.
Chocalate in my peanut butter.
I don’t care for ‘the force’ in my medieval fantasy game.
I don’t care for dragons, trolls, elves and dwarves in my cyberpunk.
I’m not going to bite off more than I can chew right now, but I’m making a note to try and rope @sean into a Shadow of the Beanstalk game if I ever get around to running it.
Not to question the Grand Pumba, but doesn’t that refer to something that accidentally came together, and you find out you really like?
