I took another look at a D&D 5e Patreon, this time Hit Point Press’ Big Bad Booklet. This generally presents a “boss monster” and potentially some ancillary monsters associated with that boss. In addition, there are some reference cards available for print and play, or physical copies at the higher Pateon levels.

Whenever I hear or read that publisher’s name, I kick myself for my job interview with them. I did not take them as seriously as I should have and walked in dumbfounded that they had an actual office/warehouse setup with a team of full-time people.
Still, the pay and commute wouldn’t have been worth the effort. That’s what I tell myself.
